Jaipur Municipal Corporation or Jaipur Nagar Nigam is the municipal corporation of Jaipur city in Rajasthan, India. Jaipur Municipal Corporation was established in the year 1994 under Rajasthan Municipality Act 1959. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation is responsible for the maintaining the city’s civic infrastructure as well as carrying out associated administrative duties. The administrative head of the Municipal Corporation is the Commissioner of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS). There are 91 wards and each ward is represented by an elected member. Jaipur Nagar Nigam has undertaken a lot of awareness campaign to promote 'Humara Jaipur Swach Jaipur' and on the ground activities to sensitise citizens of Jaipur and also the tourists to keep Jaipur Clean.
